Meerut (Uttar Pradesh). On Monday, a man surrendered after reaching the police station after strangling his wife to death in the Mohanpuri area of Meerut Nagar, Uttar Pradesh.
The police informed me about this. Superintendent of Police (City) Vineet Bhatnagar said that a person named Ajit, a resident of the Mohanpuri area under the Civil Lines police station area, strangled his wife Seema (32) to death and surrendered after reaching the police station. Bhatnagar told that the police has arrested him. He said the reason for the murder was not yet clear. the matter is being investigated. Ajit was married to Seema about 10 years ago. He also has two children.
