Earlier this year, POCO launched the POCO X6 5G smartphone in India, which is equipped with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset and a high-resolution AMOLED display. The price of the 8GB + 256 GB variant was recently reduced.

Which brought the effective starting price down to just Rs 17,999. The brand has now reduced the price of the 12GB + 512GB storage model significantly. After which the phone can be purchased at a cheaper price.

The smartphone's 12GB + 512GB storage option, which was released in January at Rs 24,999, is now retailing on Amazon for Rs 21,999. Aside from the price reduction, Amazon is also providing an additional Rs 1,000 discount to consumers using ICICI or HDFC credit cards. This brings the device's effective price to Rs 20,999.

Similar discounts are also available for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage models, reducing their pricing from Rs 21,999 and Rs 23,999 to Rs 17,999 and Rs 18,999 (effective), respectively.

The phone has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution (1220 x 2712 pixels) and support for 120Hz refresh rate. The display also included an in-screen fingerprint scanner.

The smartphone also gets Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The phone comes with an IP54-rated chassis. The X6 is expected to receive three Android OS upgrades and four years of security patch updates.

It comes with MIUI 14 based on Android 13 and is expected to receive the HyperOS upgrade soon. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, LPDDR4x RAM, UFS 2.2 storage, and a 5,100mAh battery with 67W fast charging.

The phone sports a 16MP front camera and the rear camera setup includes a 64MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro camera.
