Samsung Launches Galaxy Tab S11, S11 Ultra With Dimensity 9400, Android 16 and 120Hz AMOLED Displays
Samsung has launched the Galaxy Tab S11 series globally which includes Galaxy Tab S11 and Tab S11 Ultra. No Plus variant came this time. Both tablets come with MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset 120Hz AMOLED display and Android 16 based One UI 8. They offer up to 512GB of storage, new AI features and upgraded DeX experience.

On Thursday, Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab S11 series in global markets at its latest Galaxy event. This latest tablet lineup includes two models - the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 and Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. No 'Plus' variant has been introduced this time. Both tablets are equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset, paired with up to 512GB of storage. They run on Android 16-based One UI 8. Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 series features a 120Hz AMOLED screen and updated DeX software with new features.
The price of Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 (Wi-Fi) starts at $800 (about Rs 70,400) in the US, where the 12GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is available. Apart from this, it is also available in 256GB and 512GB configurations.
At the same time, the price of Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra (Wi-Fi) is $1,200 (about Rs 1,05,740) and $1,320 (about Rs 1,16,300), which is for 256GB and 512GB storage variants. Its 1TB configuration will be available for $1,620 (about Rs 1,42,760).
The pricing of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 series in India has not been revealed yet. Both tablets are available for pre-order and come in gray and silver color options. The company is offering Goodnotes, Clip Studio, and other subscriptions for free on the purchase of the Galaxy Tab S11 series.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 and Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra run on Android 16-based One UI 8. The company has promised that they will get OS and security updates for seven years. The Galaxy Tab S11 and Tab S11 Ultra get 11-inch and 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays, respectively. Both screens come with 120Hz refresh rate, 1,600nits peak brightness and anti-reflective coating options.
According to the company, the Galaxy Tab S11 series is equipped with 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset. It gets 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of onboard storage. The latest tablets also feature several AI features, such as Google's Circle to Search and Gemini. Users can also use the Galaxy AI suite, which includes Sketch to Image, Note Assist, Drawing Assist and other features.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 and Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra also feature a new desktop experience based on Android 16. The new Samsung DeX comes with features like home screen shortcuts, multiple workspaces and external monitor support.
Talking about the camera, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra has a dual rear camera setup, which includes a 13-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide shooter. The Galaxy Tab S11 has a single 13-megapixel rear camera. Both tablets have 12-megapixel ultra-wide selfie cameras.
Talking about dimensions, the Galaxy Tab S11 has a thickness of 5.5mm and weighs 469g. The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra is even thinner, measuring just 5.1mm thick and weighing 692g. Connectivity options on the Galaxy Tab S11 and Tab S11 Ultra include support for up to Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer. These tablets are backed by 8,400mAh and 11,600mAh batteries respectively, which support 45W fast charging.
