PM Modi lauds doctors for achieving 10 crore tele-consultations on eSanjeevani app, building strong digital health ecosystem in India
The eSanjeevani app is an initiative launched by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in 2019, aimed at providing telemedicine services to the citizens of India, especially in remote and underserved areas.



Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, has commended the success of the eSanjeevani app for reaching a landmark of 10 crore tele-consultations, and praised the doctors who have been instrumental in building a robust digital health ecosystem in the country.
The eSanjeevani app is an initiative launched by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in 2019, aimed at providing telemedicine services to the citizens of India, especially in remote and underserved areas. The app enables people to consult with doctors online, thereby reducing the need for in-person visits, and improving access to healthcare services.
The recent achievement of 10 crore tele-consultations on the app is a significant milestone in the implementation of digital health services in India. In response to a tweet by the Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, Prime Minister Modi praised the doctors who have been instrumental in building a strong digital health ecosystem in the country.
