The latest ColorOS version will come to the global markets, including India, with the new Oppo Find X9 series. Oppo teased the Android 16-based ColorOS 16 user interface in a blog post on Wednesday. The new version will first be rolled out to the soon-to-be-launched Oppo Find X9 series. ColorOS 16 introduces fresh animations, further making user activity such as opening and closing apps, rolling between the app drawer or global search, and multi-widget changing smoother.
The company stated that ColorOS 16 uses the Luminous rendering engine and Trinity engine, which smoothens system performance. The Luminous rendering engine eliminates lag between animations, while the Trinity engine improves the gaming experience.
ColorOS 16 also includes a new optimization project called 'Project Breeze,' designed to deliver responsive performance. It features a refreshed UI, new personalization options, and wallpaper customization. Users can now set Motion Photos or videos as wallpapers and receive suggestions for matching text styles from AI.
