Huawei Confirms India Launch of Huawei MatePad 11.5, Huawei MatePad SE 11

The Chinese tech company has made an announcement that the Huawei MatePad 11.5 is coming to India soon. The Huawei MatePad SE 11 is also launching at the same time. The company has created special micro-sites for these devices on an e-commerce site, which reveal a number of details regarding the tablets, including their price in India and their design. We've listed the tablets on the website with their full specifications and features. Both upcoming devices will be powered by Huawei's own Kirin chipset. Furthermore, only Wi-Fi models of the Huawei MatePad series tablets will be sold in the country.

According to a listing on Flipkart, the upcoming Huawei MatePad 11.5 will be powered by Huawei's Kirin T82B chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. This processor is claimed to have a peak clock speed of 2.4GHz. It will be available in Space Gray and Violet color options.

The device has an 11.5-inch 2.5K (2,456 x 1,600) PaperMatte TFT LCD screen, which has a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a brightness of up to 600 nits. It has a 13-megapixel camera at the back and an 8-megapixel camera at the front for selfies and video calls. It has the ability to record 1080p videos as well. The device has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.2 for connectivity.

It will be powered by a 10,100mAh battery. This upcoming Huawei tablet will also feature an ambient light sensor, a gravity sensor, and a hall sensor. The Huawei MatePad 11.5 will measure 262.6x177.5x6.1mm and weigh approximately 515g. A detachable keyboard will also be included with this tablet.

On the other hand, the Huawei MatePad SE 11 is listed on Flipkart only in a Nebula Gray color option. This tablet will be powered by Huawei's own Kirin 710A chipset clocked at 2.2GHz. It will also have 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

The Huawei MatePad SE 11 will feature an 11-inch Full-HD+ (1,900x1,200 pixels) Eye Comfort TFT LCD screen with a peak brightness of up to 400 nits and will also receive TUV Rheinland Low Blue Light and Flicker Free certification. In India, this tablet will be powered by a 7,700mAh battery with support for 22.5W wired fast charging.

Speaking of the camera, it will have an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel selfie camera capable of recording 1080p videos. For connectivity, it will support Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.1. The Huawei MatePad SE 11 will measure 252.3x163.8x6.9mm and weigh approximately 475g.

This comes shortly after the company announced that the Huawei MatePad 11.5 and MatePad SE 11 will be launched in India at a starting price of ₹27,999 and ₹13,749, respectively. However, these are the 'effective prices' of the tablets, which may include bank discounts, cashback offers, and some introductory offers. It has also been confirmed that both these tablets will be available for sale in the country through Flipkart.
