Central Bureau of Investigation Intensifies Probe, Summons Key Officials of Reliance Communications

On Saturday, the CBI chose to question two managing directors of the Reliance ADA Group: Gautam Doshi and Satish Seth. They went to the CBI office in Delhi and were asked a lot of questions throughout the day.
This week, another managing director of the same group, Amitabh Jhunjhunwala, was also asked questions by the CBI. He was asked to come in for questioning on the 18th of March, 2026. The CBI filed an FIR for this case on August 21, 2025, after a complaint by the State Bank of India.
This case is regarding a case of fraud of ₹2929.05 crore against the State Bank of India. The accused in this case include Reliance Communications Limited and Anil D. Ambani. Ambani have been named as accused in the FIR. Besides these, several other unidentified individuals and unidentified public servants are also listed as accused.
