Redmi 15A 5G India Launch Date Confirmed, Key Specs Revealed
Xiaomi's sub-brand Redmi will launch the Redmi 15A 5G smartphone in India on March 27th. The company has revealed several features of the phone by livestreaming a microsite on its website.
Xiaomi’s sub-brand, Redmi, had announced its 15 5G device in August last year. It featured a 7,000mAh battery and Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3. Now, another device from the Redmi 15 series is launching. It is likely going to be called the Redmi 15A 5G. The Chinese smartphone maker had teased its upcoming device by live-streaming its microsite on its official website, revealing a lot of information about it.
The Redmi 15A 5G is launching in India on March 27. According to its website, it will be available in three colors. It will feature a 120Hz display and a 6,300mAh battery. Redmi claims it will be powered by an octa-core 5G chipset. The company hasn't yet disclosed which processor this will be. The phone will feature a dual rear camera setup. This Redmi phone will feature a 32-megapixel AI primary camera.
The upcoming Redmi 15A smartphone will debut with a flat rear panel design. The rear panel features a rectangular camera island, housing two camera lenses and an LED flash. The front panel features thick bezels and a waterdrop-style notch for the selfie camera. The power button and volume buttons are located on the right side of the phone.
