Respite from the intense heat is expected to arrive in Rajasthan. Weather changes are expected on March 14 with a western disturbance. There is a possibility of thunderstorms and rain. A yellow alert has been issued by the Meteorological Department for rain and hailstorms on March 14 in 19 districts of Rajasthan. There is a heatwave alert issued for two districts on Wednesday. On Tuesday, the sky was clear across the state with bright sunshine throughout the day. There were mild to moderate heatwave conditions in Jaisalmer, Barmer, and border areas. Barmer recorded the highest temperature of 40.6 degrees Celsius. Pilani in Jhunjhunu recorded 39.2 degrees Celsius, Chittorgarh 39 degrees Celsius, Churu 38.7 degrees Celsius, Jodhpur 38.6 degrees Celsius, and Jaisalmer 38.5 degrees Celsius.

According to Radheshyam Sharma, Director of the Meteorological Center, Jaipur, a western disturbance will become active in North India on March 14th. Its effects may also be felt in Rajasthan on March 14th and 15th. Due to this system, light thunderstorms and rain are likely in some areas of the state. Temperatures may also drop by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius.

During the past 24 hours, maximum temperatures in major cities ranged from 35 to 40 degrees Celsius. Barmer was the hottest, with a maximum temperature of 40.6 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 20.8 degrees Celsius. Pilani recorded a maximum of 39.2 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 16.6 degrees Celsius, Chittorgarh 39 degrees Celsius and 16.2 degrees Celsius, Churu 38.7 degrees Celsius and 16.4 degrees Celsius. Jodhpur recorded 38.6 degrees Celsius and 17.5 degrees Celsius, Jaisalmer 38.5 degrees Celsius and 20.5 degrees Celsius, while Bikaner recorded 38.2 degrees Celsius and 21 degrees Celsius.

Dausa recorded 38 degrees Celsius and 15 degrees Celsius, Kota 37.9 degrees Celsius and 18.4 degrees Celsius, Fatehpur (Sikar) 37.8 degrees Celsius and 11.4 degrees Celsius, and Jaipur 37.5 degrees Celsius and 20.6 degrees Celsius. Apart from this, the temperature was 37.4 and 14.7 degrees in Jalore, 37.3 and 20.6 degrees in Sriganganagar, 37-37 and 17.9 degrees in Jhunjhunu and Ajmer. 36.8 and 16.1 degrees in Karauli, 36.6 and 13.3 degrees in Baran, 36.3 and 16.2 degrees in Udaipur. The maximum temperature in Alwar, Sirohi and Sikar was around 36 degrees, while the maximum temperature in Bhilwara was recorded at 35 and the minimum at 15 degrees Celsius.
