India Meteorological Department Issues Yellow Alert as Western Disturbance May Bring Rain to Rajasthan
Rajasthan Weather Update: Respite is expected from the intense heat and heatwave in Rajasthan. A yellow alert for thunderstorms, rain, and hailstorms has been issued in 19 districts due to the activation of a western disturbance on March 14th. The temperature in Barmer reached 40.6°C. A drop of 2-3 degrees is expected on March 14th and 15th.

Barmer recorded the highest temperature of 40.6 degrees Celsius. Pilani in Jhunjhunu recorded 39.2 degrees Celsius, Chittorgarh 39 degrees Celsius, Churu 38.7 degrees Celsius, Jodhpur 38.6 degrees Celsius, and Jaisalmer 38.5 degrees Celsius.
According to Radheshyam Sharma, Director of the Meteorological Center, Jaipur, a western disturbance will become active in North India on March 14th. Its effects may also be felt in Rajasthan on March 14th and 15th. Due to this system, light thunderstorms and rain are likely in some areas of the state. Temperatures may also drop by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius.

Pilani recorded a maximum of 39.2 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 16.6 degrees Celsius, Chittorgarh 39 degrees Celsius and 16.2 degrees Celsius, Churu 38.7 degrees Celsius and 16.4 degrees Celsius. Jodhpur recorded 38.6 degrees Celsius and 17.5 degrees Celsius, Jaisalmer 38.5 degrees Celsius and 20.5 degrees Celsius, while Bikaner recorded 38.2 degrees Celsius and 21 degrees Celsius.
