Neil Mohan of Indian origin has been appointed as the new CEO of YouTube. Prior to this, Neel Mohan was the CPO of YouTube. He has been promoted and given this responsibility. Neil Mohan has been working with Google since 2008. In the year 2013, the company gave him a bonus of Rs 544 crore.
He will replace former CEO Susan Diane Wojcicki. Susan has recently resigned from her post. Wojcicki, 54, said she wanted to spend more time with her family. Also wants to focus on her health and personal life. That's why she is leaving the post. She became the CEO of YouTube in the year 2014.

Neel Mohan studied at Stanford University. Neil started his career with Glorified Technical Support, where he earned a salary of $60,000. Apart from this, Neil has worked in the position of Senior Analyst at Accenture. Then he joined DoubleClick Inc. Neel Mohan worked as Director, Global Client Services in this company for 3 years and 5 months. Apart from this, he held the responsibility of Vice President of Business Operations for about two and a half years.
After this Neil joined Microsoft, after working here for 4 months, he returned to DoubleClick Inc. Then Neil worked here for 3 years. After DoubleClick Inc, he started working at Google in 2008 as Senior Vice President, Display and Video Ads. In the year 2015, he was made the Chief Product Officer of YouTube.
