A sudden fire broke out in the Jagdamba plywood factory located in the RIICO area of Bassi police station area late at night. Plywood and other items kept in the factory were burnt to ashes due to the fire. On information, a dozen fire tenders and tankers reached the spot and doused the fire with water. On receiving information about the fire, fire tenders were dispatched from Rico Bassi and Ghatgate. More than 10 vehicles controlled the fire till 4 in the morning. During this, on receiving the information about the fire, the factory owner also reached the spot, but he was helplessly watching the burning factory. No information of any kind has come to the fore regarding the damage caused by the fire in the factory.
