AI will fully generate business value in its mature phase by 2025, benefiting to businesses and companies

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is no longer just a buzzword or a temporary trend. AI has become an important part of industries, helping businesses to work more efficiently, earn profits, and create new jobs. What will be the impact of AI on jobs, ownership of data, and privacy, and who will be responsible if any problem occurs due to it, answers to these questions are yet to be found. Despite this, AI will deliver business value on a large scale by 2025, that is, it will benefit businesses and companies.

According to Wipro's Chief Information Officer (CIO) Anup Purohit, AI is now moving beyond being a new and exciting technology to becoming a regular and valuable part of business operations. Companies are using it in creative ways to increase efficiency, provide better customer experience, and find new revenue streams. He said we are working towards a future where AI will move beyond the initial phase, be integrated into everyday operations, and reach a mature stage.

According to NASSCOM, Indian companies are not to restrain AI from working to only 'low-level' tasks, including the use of virtual assistants; predictive analytics-use data, statistical algorithms, and machine learning to predict future results. They are to focus on large and scalable-that is, easily expanded or upgraded according to demand-use of AI technology so that its full potential can be exploited.

According to Atul Soneja, chief operating officer of Tech Mahindra, the global AI market stands at about US$ 235 billion at present and is expected to touch over US$ 631 billion by 2028. AI is disrupting industries and economies.
