First glimpse of 2024 Kia Carnival revealed, will enter Indian market soon with these updates

Kia India is planning to launch Carnival SU in the domestic market soon. Before it launches, the Korean auto giant is testing the next MPV on Indian roads. Most international markets currently offer the 2024 Kia Carnival for purchase. Because of the stringent emission regulations, it was removed from the Indian market. Come on over and tell us about the next MPV.

The majority of the design features seen in the MPV's new generation avatar will remain on the vehicle, according to spy photos of the new Carnival that have been posted on social media. At the 2023 Auto Expo, Kia unveiled the concept version of the next-generation Carnival, known as the KA4. It appears that the concept's design has also been carried over to the production version based on the global-spec model and the test mule seen in India.

The spy shot shows the Carnival test mule with updated headlamps and taillights, a redesigned grille, and signature LED DRLs. At the rear, Kia will offer connected LED taillights and a redesigned bumper.

No spy shot of its interior has come yet. The new Carnival is expected to have features like a 12.3-inch touchscreen screen, digital driver display, rear infotainment screen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless charger, automatic climate control, 360-degree camera, and head-up display. Kia is expected to offer the new Carnival with at least two seating options, including a 7-seater and a 9-seater version.

Kia has not officially confirmed when the new Carnival MPV will launch in India. However, it is expected that the updated Carnival will be launched in the market before the festive season starts this year.

The upcoming model is likely to get a 2.2-litre, 4-cylinder turbo-diesel engine, which can generate power of around 200 bhp. Kia may also include a 1.6-litre petrol hybrid engine with the Carnival. When launched, the Carnival is going to compete directly with the Toyota Innova Hycross.
