'Don't hesitate, give a befitting reply', orders the army to take all possible action against Pakistan
The Prime Minister has said that there should be no hesitation in taking any appropriate action. Any attack from Pakistan should be responded to with equal intensity. General Dwivedi assured that the army is fully prepared to respond to any audacity by Pakistan.

In the midst of intense Pakistani firing along the Line of Control bordering Jammu and Kashmir, Prime Minister Narendra Modi directed that the common people be protected by the army.
Prime Minister Modi had a meeting with Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi and reviewed the situation that occurred due to the Pakistani firing along the borders. The Prime Minister also directed the army to retaliate with a befitting response to the Pakistani fire.
According to highly placed sources, General Upendra Dwivedi told the Prime Minister how Pakistan has been using large weapons like mortars and rocket launchers for firing across the border for the last two days. This is being thwarted, but still, there has been a loss of life and property. Women and children are also among the dead.
General Dwivedi also informed that the common people living near the Line of Control and the International Border have been shifted to safer places. According to sources, the Prime Minister has given clear instructions that they will be kept far away from the reach of Pakistani bullets. However, Prime Minister Modi had already given a free hand to the army to give a befitting reply to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam.
