Earlier on Saturday, DGCA had ordered the removal of three of its officials, including the Divisional Vice President of Air India, from all roles and responsibilities related to crew scheduling and rostering. This negligence was discovered during the review after the change from ARMS to the CAE flight and crew management system. ARMS (Air Route Management System) is a software platform used by the airline for various operational and management functions. This includes crew rostering and flight planning, etc.
