Realme GT 8 Series Leak Hints at 200MP Telephoto Camera, 2K AMOLED Display and Snapdragon 8 Elite 2; Launch Expected in October
Realme is going to launch its new GT 8 series soon, which is being discussed about its debut in October. This series can bring more powerful upgrades than last year's GT 7. Features like a 2K AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset, and a 200MP telephoto camera have been in leaked reports. Let's know the rest of the details.

The Realme GT 8 series could be launched in October and will be equipped with hardware upgrades compared to last year's Realme GT 7 series. A new leak has surfaced before the official launch, which supports the old discussion related to the handset's chipset, display, and telephoto camera. The upcoming Realme GT 8 series can have an AMOLED display with 2K resolution. It can be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset. This lineup is expected to include Realme GT 8 and Realme GT 8 Pro models.
Tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore (@Sudhanshu1414) has leaked details related to the Realme GT 8 series on X (earlier Twitter). According to the tipster, the phone will have a 200-megapixel telephoto lens and a flat 2K AMOLED display. The tipster has mentioned an unspecified Snapdragon 8 series processor; earlier leaks clearly stated that the device will be powered by the next-gen Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset.
Reportedly, Realme is planning the Realme GT 8 series in collaboration with a camera brand. This could be the company's most advanced flagship yet. However, no official information has been given by the company about this yet.
This new leak also supports earlier rumors about the specifications of the Realme GT 8 lineup. According to the old leak, the standard Realme GT 8 will have a 6.6-inch flat display, an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and a metal frame. The battery capacity is said to be around 7,000mAh.
