According to media reports, MG Motors may soon launch a new vehicle in the Indian market. According to reports, the manufacturer may launch the MG Starlight 560. However, no formal information has been provided by the manufacturer on this matter yet.

The plan for this car's introduction is being discussed since it has been patented in India. Once the patent process is done, MG will start selling the car in India.

This kind of car is already manufactured by MG in many countries. The design of this car will remain the same as the international model with features such as LED headlights, dual-tone alloy wheels, LED taillights, roof spoiler, 12.8-inch infotainment display, digital instrument console, wireless charger, panoramic sunroof, dual climate control system, ABS, EBD, airbags, and ADAS.

MG is expected to offer plug-in hybrid technology in this SUV, along with standard turbocharged petrol and diesel engine options. This SUV is expected to be offered with six-speed manual and automatic transmission options. It is expected to feature a 1.5-liter petrol hybrid engine, offering a range of 100 to 125 kilometers from the electric motor and around 900 kilometers from the engine, which together could be over 1,000 kilometers.

No formal information has been provided by MG on this yet. However, it is expected that this SUV could be launched in India by 2027.

Once launched, it will compete directly with SUVs like the Mahindra XUV 7XO, Mahindra Scorpio N, Tata Safari, and Tata Sierra.
