Western Disturbance Intensifies: Orange Alert Issued for Rain and Hailstorms in Rajasthan

The impact of the active Western Disturbance in Rajasthan will be more pronounced on Monday. The Meteorological Department has already issued an orange alert for rain in five districts and a yellow alert for 21 districts. Strong thunderstorms are also predicted during this period. According to the Jaipur Meteorological Center, back-to-back Western Disturbances are likely to continue in the first week of April. The Western Disturbances may bring rain in the northern and western parts of the state.

The impact of this weather system was low on Sunday. The Bikaner division experienced dry and sunny weather during the whole day. In Jalore, Sirohi, and Pali districts, light clouds were seen in the sky. Jaipur, Bharatpur, Kota, and Ajmer divisions experienced mostly clear skies. According to weather experts, the lack of humidity in the atmosphere reduced the impact.

Temperature-wise, Kota was the hottest on Sunday, recording a maximum temperature of 39.3 degrees Celsius. Churu recorded 37.6 degrees Celsius, Pilani and Alwar 37.2 degrees Celsius, Barmer 37.6 degrees Celsius, Sikar 36 degrees Celsius, Jaisalmer 35.8 degrees Celsius, Jodhpur 35.3 degrees Celsius, Sriganganagar 34.5 degrees Celsius, and Bikaner 34.4 degrees Celsius.
