Farmers in Rajasthan face bad weather conditions. Rain and hailstorms hit the mustard, cumin, and isabgol crops in the last week of March. The Jaipur Meteorological Center stated that weather conditions in Rajasthan would probably remain unsettled on Wednesday, i.e., on April 1st. They have predicted rain in two districts of Rajasthan today. Thick clouds and high wind have been experienced in Jaipur and its surrounding areas since morning.

The Meteorological Department stated that a new weather system would become active from April 2nd, leading to rain in Rajasthan. Rain and hail have been experienced in various districts of eastern Rajasthan on Tuesday.

In the past 24 hours, the weather changed in the afternoon in more than 10 districts, including Sriganganagar, Hanumangarh, Bikaner, Churu, Sikar, Jhunjhunu, Jaipur, Alwar, Bharatpur, Dausa, Karauli, Dholpur, Sawai Madhopur, and Tonk. After a clear morning, the sky became cloudy as the day progressed, and rain was recorded in many areas. Hail also fell in some areas of Hanumangarh, Churu, and Sriganganagar. Cloudy skies and light rain also occurred around Jaipur in the afternoon. Kota and Chittorgarh recorded maximum temperatures of 37.9 and 37.4 degrees Celsius, respectively.

The continuous rain and hailstorm have damaged rabi crops in several districts, including Sriganganagar, Bikaner, Churu, Nagaur, Didwana-Kuchaman. According to the Meteorological Department, due to the effect of the new weather system, there is a possibility of light rain in more than 20 districts of the state till April 4.
