With the introduction of new models, Mahindra, the well-known automaker in the nation, hopes to increase the number of electric cars in its lineup. The company has unveiled several electric cars that will go on sale in 2022. Its BE.05 EV, which is scheduled to debut in October 2025, was recently observed during testing.

The BE.05 testing mule is visible wearing camouflage. even though BE is visibly written on it. Mahindra has added wipers and a rearview mirror to the test mule, indicating that it is almost ready for production. Its headlamp units were still hidden, though.

The BE.05 looks quite sporty for an SUV thanks to its coupe-like design. Its door handles, which are from the XUV700, are pretty interesting. At the same time, its rear door handles are installed on the C-pillar. There is an integrated spoiler on the rear tailgate window, which will help reduce drag and increase efficiency. Mahindra will also offer a panoramic sunroof in this EV.

The INGLO platform was used in the design of the Mahindra BE.05. Mahindra plans to use the same platform for its other electric vehicles as well. The electric coupe SUV will have dimensions of 1,900 mm in width, 1,635 mm in height, and 4,370 mm in length. It will have a 2,775 mm wheelbase.

The scalable INGLO platform is perfect for vehicles ranging in length from 4.3 to 5 metres. Mahindra's electric vehicle's wheels are positioned to the side, and the battery pack is located on the floor. It now has a level floor. Three passengers can travel in comfort at the same time by occupying the back bench.
