Australia Adds Jack Edwards and Matthew Kuhnemann for Final India ODI
India vs Australia: The third and final match of the ODI series between India and Australia will be played on October 25th.
The final match of the three-match ODI series will be played between India and Australia at the Sydney Cricket Ground in Sydney on Saturday, October 25th. Ahead of this crucial match, Australia has made some changes to its team. While Marnus Labuschagne has been released to play domestic matches, New South Wales all-rounder Jack Edwards and spinner Matthew Kuhnemann have been included in the squad. Jack Edwards has been included in the Australian international team for the first time, while Matthew Kuhnemann played against India in the first ODI played in Perth.
A five-match T20I series is scheduled to be played between India and Australia starting on October 29th. Explosive batsman Glenn Maxwell and fast bowler Mahli Beardman have been included in the squad for the last three T20Is of the series. Glenn Maxwell was out of the squad due to a wrist injury. Mahli Beardman has recently performed brilliantly in domestic cricket and has caught the attention of the selectors. He was part of the Australian team that won the Under-19 World Cup last year.
Australia has included fast bowler Ben Dwarshuis in the squad for the fourth and fifth T20 Internationals against India. Wicketkeeper-batsman Josh Philippe will be part of the Australian squad for all T20 matches against India. Fast bowler Josh Hazlewood will play the first two T20 Internationals. Sean Abbott will be part of the Australian squad for the first three T20 matches against India. Australia has made these changes in view of the upcoming Ashes series, giving its players the opportunity to prepare by playing in the Sheffield Shield.
