VinFast India: Vietnam's automobile giant VinFast is preparing to launch two more electric cars in India. Which will challenge MG Comet EV and Kia Carens Clavis EV.

Vietnam's automobile giant VinFast is now gearing up to tighten its grip in the Indian electric car segment. The company recently launched VF6 and VF7 electric SUVs in India, which it plans to bring this month. It has now patented two new EV models, Limo Green and Minio Green. This is said to be part of the company's grand plan for electric cars in India.
Vinfast applied for a patent for Minio Green in January this year. This vehicle has been judged to be direct competition against India's smallest and cheapest electric car MG Comet EV.
This compact electric hatchback measures 3,100 mm in length, just a bit bigger than the MG Comet. It features a wheelbase of 2,065 mm and 13-inch tyres.
The Minio Green has a 14.7 kWh battery, which gives 26 bhp power and 65 Nm torque. Its top speed is 80 kmph. It can run up to 170 km on a single full charge. This car supports 12kW AC charging.
Talking about the features, it has all-LED lights, dual speakers, manual adjustment for the driver's seat, two drive modes, and manual AC control.
Vinfast filed a patent application for Limo Green in March 2025. It is a seven-seater electric MPV, which can give tough competition to the recently launched Kia Carens Clavis EV.
The length of Limo Green is 4,700 mm, width 1,800 mm, and height 1,700 mm. Its wheelbase is 2,800 mm. It has a 60.13 kWh battery, which gives a range of up to 450 km on a single charge. It has an FWD motor, which generates 201 bhp of power and 280 Nm of torque.
It also has the facility of DC fast charging, so that the battery can be charged from 10 percent to 70 percent in just 30 minutes. Features include all-LED lights, 18-inch alloy wheels, dual driving modes, ventilated seats, a 4-speaker audio system, and single-zone climate control.
