Plane going from Jaipur to Chennai diverted for an emergency landing due to the tire burst

There was a stir among the passengers due to the tire burst of the plane going from Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, to Chennai. The surprising factor is that this was discovered after about two and a half hours. The plane then had to be diverted for an emergency landing at Chennai airport.

According to airport officials, SpiceJet's plane SG-9046 took off from Jaipur airport to Chennai late Saturday night. During this time, there were 200 people on board the plane, including crew members. But, suddenly a tire of the plane flying in the sky burst.

The pilot came to know about this incident after around two and a half hours when the plane was about to land at Chennai airport. As soon as this was noticed, there was a panic among the passengers. The pilot then called the Air Traffic Control Unit and reported this to them.

The pilot sought permission for the emergency landing of the plane in Chennai. After getting the permission, the plane landed safely. All the passengers on the plane are safe. After the malfunction occurred in the plane, the airline company ordered an investigation.
