Team India's star cricketer and explosive batsman Sanju Samson is now ready to make a splash in fast cricket after the IPL. He will be seen hitting fours and sixes during the next season of Kerala Cricket League (KCL), which is set to start shortly. This was ensured on Monday by the Kerala Cricket Association Governing Council Chairman, Nazir Machan. He reported that Sanju Samson has also signed up for the next KCL auction, which is set for July 5.

Sanju Samson, who leads the Rajasthan Royals, will figure in the Category-A list of 39 names at the KCL auction along with IPL legend Vignesh Puthur and Kerala Ranji captain Sachin Baby. Each of the franchises can retain a maximum of four players and then bid for additional players at the auction.

This can include a maximum of three capped players who have represented the state in at least one Ranji Trophy, Syed Mushtaq Ali, or Vijay Hazare match, or played for the IPL or India Under-19s. Teams that do not want to use the player retention slot will get a Right-to-Match card. The uncapped or capped player rule will also apply to RTM.
