Komal Vaishnav from Jalore Wins Miss Universe Grand Global Ambassador 2025 in Malaysia
Rajasthan’s Komal Vaishnav becomes the first Indian to win the Miss Universe Grand Global Ambassador 2025 title at an international pageant held in Malaysia.

India is celebrating a proud moment as Komal Vaishnav, a native of Jalore district in Rajasthan, has won the prestigious Miss Universe Grand Global Ambassador 2025 title. The international beauty pageant was held in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia, from June 11 to 15, with participants from 15 countries competing for the crown.
Komal’s talent, confidence, and presence helped her make history as the first Indian to ever win this global title.
Hailing from Guda Ram village in Bhadrajun tehsil, Komal currently lives in Mumbai, where she’s pursuing higher education. Her father, Amritlal Vaishnav, is a jeweler in Mumbai's Mugadevi Jewelry Market. Her elder brother also works in the gold business, while her younger brother is still studying. Her mother is a homemaker.
Komal prepared for the competition over the course of a month before flying to Malaysia on June 10. After her victory, she returned to India on June 16, where she received a grand welcome at Mumbai Airport. On June 21, she arrived in Jalore, where locals and Ahor MLA Chhagan Singh welcomed her with great enthusiasm and pride.
Currently in her second year of college, Komal dreams of making a mark in the film industry. She is enrolled in a specialized course in Mumbai to hone her skills in acting and performance. Her first music video is expected to release in July 2025.
Komal’s achievement has filled Jalore with joy and pride. She has become a beacon of hope and inspiration for young girls across the country, proving that with hard work and determination, even the most ambitious dreams can come true.
