A three-Test series will start from June 25 between Australia and the West Indies. With this, both countries will also enter their new cycle of the World Test Championship. Both countries will initiate the account with the opening Test match to be played between June 25-29 in Barbados. Then, the second Test match will follow between July 3-7 in Grenada. The third and final Test match of the series will take place between July 12-16 in Jamaica. Both opening Tests between the West Indies and Australia will have an opening time of 7:30 pm Indian time, and the final Test match will get going from 12 midnight on July 12.

After this Test series, both countries will play a five-match T20 series, which will be held between 20-28 July. This T20 series will be played in Jamaica and St. Kitts. Due to injury, Australia's legendary cricketer Steve Smith will not be able to play the first match of the Test series against the West Indies. This is a big setback for the visiting team. However, Smith is expected to be fit before the second Test. So far, 120 Tests have been played between Australia and the West Indies, of which Australia has won 61. 33 matches were won by West Indies. Since 1930, 25 Test matches have been drawn between the two countries, while one match was also tied.
