Realme 16 5G Sale Begins Today: ₹2,000 Discount, 7000mAh Battery, Dimensity Chip

The Realme brand has recently announced its new Realme 16 5G smartphone, which will be up for purchase from today itself in India. Realme had launched Realme 16 Pro and Realme 16 Pro+ previously. This week Realme has now added another model to this series - the new Realme 16 5G.

The latest Realme 16 5G smartphone comes with a high-performance battery made from silicon-carbon as well as a totally new look. It has a powerful MediaTek chipset and comes with a 50MP rear and front camera setup. Now that you have seen some details, take a look at the price offers...

The launch is available from today onwards starting 12 noon IST via Flipkart, realme.com, as well as other retail partners. The device's base variant starts at ₹31,999 for the 8GB/128GB model.

The 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB variants are priced at ₹33,999 and ₹36,999, respectively. However, you can also take advantage of special bank offers on the phone, including a ₹2,000 bank discount or an exchange bonus of ₹6,000.

This new Realme device features a 6.57-inch AMOLED display. It boasts a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a peak brightness of up to 4,200 nits. It also boasts a 3,000Hz instant touch sampling rate, designed to make gestures and taps more responsive.

Powering the phone is the Dimensity 6400 Turbo processor. It also features a 7,000mAh battery, 60W wired charging, and reverse charging support. It runs Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16.

Regarding the camera, the phone features a 50-megapixel primary camera on the back, along with a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor. There's also a small reflective patch next to the camera module, which the company is calling a "selfie mirror."

This allows you to take selfies while still using the primary camera. On the front, the phone also features a 50-megapixel front camera. The device also offers IP69 protection, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
