So far, he has scored 200 runs from four matches played in the IPL 2026 season, with a strike rate of 266. His performance was instrumental in defeating the defending champions, Royal Challengers Bangalore. Indeed, even members of RCB were impressed by the player.
Team legend Virat Kohli himself sent out a message for Vaibhav Suryavanshi. Vaibhav Suryavanshi got selected for Player of the Match and became the highest run-getter of the IPL 2026 season, thereby earning an Orange Cap.
