India Meteorological Department Issues Warning for Severe Weather in Rajasthan
Rajasthan Weather Alert: An alert for thunderstorms, rain, and hailstorms has been issued in Rajasthan from March 27th to 30th. The Western Disturbance will cause weather changes in several districts. Farmers have been advised to store their harvested crops in a safe place.
Inclement weather is expected in Rajasthan for the next four days. The Meteorological Center in Jaipur has issued a warning about big changes in the weather in the state from March 27 to 30. During this time, thunderstorms, rain, and hail are expected. On Friday, changes in the weather are expected in eight districts. Due to the Western Disturbance, the Jodhpur, Bikaner, and Jaipur areas have seen changes in the weather. Clouds and rain have been seen in Bikaner, Churu, Sriganganagar, Hanumangarh, Phalodi, Jhunjhunu, Sikar, and parts of Nagaur, Jaisalmer, and Jodhpur.
The weather remained sunny during the day, but in the afternoon, the weather changed suddenly. Strong dusty winds were seen in many areas, and thunderstorms accompanied by rain were seen in Bikaner, Sikar, Ganganagar, and Hanumangarh. Meanwhile, clear weather prevailed in the southeastern and eastern districts, including Barmer, Kota, Udaipur, and Jaipur. Kota recorded a maximum temperature of 38.9 degrees Celsius.
According to the Meteorological Department, a strong weather system will become active from March 28th, and its effects will be felt across the state. Light to moderate rain and hail are expected in many areas between March 28th and 30th. Farmers have been advised to exercise special caution. The department has advised storing harvested or ripe crops stored in the fields or in the open in a safe or covered area to avoid damage from potential rain and hailstorms.
