International Olympic Committee Bars Transgender Women from Female Events from 2028 Olympics
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has made a major decision, banning transgender female athletes from participating in women's competitions. Now, only biologically female athletes will be able to participate in Olympic and IOC events.

The International Olympic Committee has made a huge announcement. According to the new rule set by the International Olympic Committee and released on Thursday, transgender women will not be allowed to participate in women’s events. From now on, only biologically female athletes will be allowed to participate in women’s events in the Olympic Games and any other International Olympic Committee events.
This new rule has been set based on science and aims to ensure fairness and equality for female athletes. This new rule will be implemented in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games. It should be noted that this new rule has been discussed for a long time.
According to the new policy, athletes' eligibility to participate in the women's category will be determined by a one-time SRY gene screening test. This test examines a region of DNA typically associated with male development. The test will only need to be performed once in a lifetime, making it easy and minimally invasive for athletes. The IOC states that it is the most accurate and least intrusive method currently available.
