Bhajan Lal Sharma Promises Jobs and Self-Employment Support at ‘Develop Rajasthan Run’

On the occasion of Rajasthan Day, the "Develop Rajasthan Run 2026" was organized across the state, including the capital Jaipur, on Sunday. The run was flagged off by Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma in Jaipur. Many youths, athletes, social groups, and citizens participated with full enthusiasm. The Chief Minister joined the run and motivated the youths to stay healthy and contribute to the state's growth.

Addressing the youths, the Chief Minister stated, "You have faced a lot of problems in the last five years, but since the government has come into power, strict action has been taken against those who have been wronging you. Recruitment is done in a proper manner, and those who have been leaking the question papers have been sent to jail."

The Chief Minister stated that the government's goal is not only to provide employment to youth, but also to empower them to become job creators. Toward this end, the state government has set a target of creating 400,000 government and 600,000 private jobs over the next five years. He stated that approximately 125,000 youth have been issued appointment letters so far, while the recruitment process for approximately 135,000 positions is ongoing. The previously announced recruitment calendar for 100,000 positions has now been expanded to 125,000.
