Light clouds in Rajasthan have slowed the speed of northern winds, leading to an increase of up to 3 degrees in minimum and maximum temperatures. Following Barmer, Chittorgarh also recorded daytime temperatures of 30 degrees on Sunday. Night temperatures in Sikar, Phalodi, and Churu increased by up to 2 degrees, leading to a decrease in the cold. Weather experts predict that similar weather conditions will prevail across the state for the next one or two days, providing relief from the cold wave. Dry weather is expected for the next week.

The lowest temperature recorded in the last 24 hours was 3.5°C in Fatehpur. Additionally, the minimum temperature in Lunkaransar and Mount Abu was 5 degrees Celsius. Sikar recorded 6.8 degrees Celsius, Churu 6.3 degrees Celsius, Karauli 6.4 degrees Celsius, Dausa 6 degrees Celsius, Jhunjhunu 7.2 degrees Celsius, Jaipur 10.6 degrees Celsius, and Kota 9.7 degrees Celsius. In western Rajasthan, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Ganganagar, and Barmer experienced light cloud cover during the day, dimming the sunlight slightly. Jodhpur recorded a maximum temperature of 32.3 degrees Celsius, Barmer 32 degrees Celsius, Chittorgarh 30.4 degrees Celsius, and Jaipur 28.2 degrees Celsius.

According to the Meteorological Center in Jaipur, the western disturbance is expected to continue having a mild effect on the western districts today, with clouds likely to appear at higher altitudes. The rest of the state will remain dry. Night temperatures in eastern Rajasthan, including Shekhawati, may remain below 10 degrees Celsius, although there will be some relief from the cold wave.
