Kagiso Rabada dominates IPL 2026 powerplay, becomes leading wicket-taker after fiery spell vs Mumbai Indians
Kagiso Rabada vs Mumbai Indians, IPL 2026, GT vs MI: Kagiso Rabada wreaked havoc in the powerplay against Mumbai Indians, sending three batsmen to the pavilion one after the other.



However, in the 30th game between Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians, Kagiso Rabada grabbed three wickets in the first six overs, making him the highest wicket taker during the powerplay for the IPL 2026 season. During the first six overs of the game, apart from Rabada, there were three other bowlers who troubled the openers as well.

This performance made Kagiso Rabada the leading wicket taker in the powerplay (overs 1-6). Currently, Rabada has grabbed a total of seven wickets in six games.
Rabada first dismissed IPL debutant Danish Malewar for two runs. He then took his second wicket by catching South African batting legend Quinton de Kock off his own bowling. Rabada didn't stop there, bowling out Mumbai Indians captain Suryakumar Yadav in the final over of the powerplay.
