BMW Unveils Facelifted BMW 7 Series with Futuristic Design, Panoramic iDrive & Electric i7 Lineup
BMW 7 Series Update: The BMW 7 Series facelift features several major changes to its design and interior. It also features minor updates to its engine and power output.
The latest rendition of BMW’s luxury sedan model 7 series was unveiled. While retaining its basic structure, it receives an updated front and rear end design. The front features thinner daytime driving lights above the traditional lamps while the rear has narrower tail lights along with the darkened lower end. The vehicle also boasts bigger wheels that can be as big as 22 inches. A choice of color variations including a two tone variation will be available for this car.
The interior is upgraded with a redesigned dashboard and an iDrive system that operates on Mac’s operating system. It features a large display spanning the entire width of the windscreen, a 17.9-inch touchscreen, and a separate 14.6-inch screen for the passenger. The car supports modern features like AI voice control, over-the-air updates, and smartphone integration.
The new BMW 7 Series is offered in a variety of petrol, diesel, plug-in hybrid, and fully electric engine options. Its 3.0-liter, six-cylinder petrol and diesel engines are paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system. The 740 xDrive petrol model produces 400 hp and 580 Nm of torque. The 740d xDrive diesel model produces 313 hp and 670 Nm of torque.
