Heatwave Eases Slightly in Rajasthan as Rain and Hailstorm Bring Temporary Relief
Rajasthan Weather: The impact of a Western Disturbance has changed the weather in Rajasthan. Light rain and hailstorms in several districts brought relief from the heat, but the threat of a heatwave remains. An alert has been issued in some districts with the possibility of thunderstorms and rain in the next three days.
The people of Rajasthan were suffering from extremely hot and humid weather along with the heat wave, but some respite came to them on Saturday with the change in weather due to the Western Disturbance, which brought light rains and hailstorms in a few areas. However, the heatwave continued despite a drop in temperature.
According to the Meteorological Department, the impact of this system will remain in the state for the next three days. During this period, strong thunderstorms, rain, and hailstorms are expected in some areas. People have been advised to remain vigilant.
On Tuesday, two districts were under the yellow alert for rain while 13 districts remained under the yellow alert for heatwaves. The maximum temperature was recorded in the district of Barmer at 45.7 degrees centigrade.
