Weather Turns in Rajasthan: Rain Likely in Jaipur, Sikar, Alwar as Temperatures Dip Slightly
Rajasthan Weather: Amidst the intense heat and heat wave in Rajasthan, the weather has changed due to the activation of a western disturbance. Light rain is expected in several districts. However, the heatwave continues in western areas, including Barmer and Jaisalmer, with temperatures hovering around 43 degrees Celsius.
Rajasthan's weather conditions have seen a sudden shift due to excessively high temperatures and heat waves. According to the Jaipur office of the India Meteorological Department, light showers could be expected in some districts on Friday. This is attributed to the western disturbance.
A dense cloud cover has been observed in several parts, especially in Jaipur, from Thursday night, which has marginally reduced the temperature. According to the Meteorological Department, rain is expected in Sriganganagar, Hanumangarh, Jhunjhunu, Churu, Sikar, and Alwar.
In the state, the intense heat was maintained even on Thursday. In more than 18 cities, maximum temperatures surpassed 40 degrees Celsius. While Bikaner, Churu, Sriganganagar, and Phalodi experienced a temperature of 42 degrees Celsius, Barmer and Jaisalmer were the warmest with an approximate temperature of 43 degrees Celsius.
