The globally marketed Ninja 400 has been replaced by the 2024 Ninja 500, which India Kawasaki Motors has introduced to the domestic market. The 2024 Kawasaki Ninja 500 is priced at Rs 5.24 lakh (ex-showroom) and is imported into India as a completely built unit (CBU). There will only be one Metallic Spark Black colour option for the Ninja 500. Come, let us know about it.

Based on a trellis frame, the new Kawasaki Ninja 500 is powered by a 451 cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine. The engine's stroke is increased to 58.6 mm from the 399 cc Ninja 400's 51.8 mm stroke; the bore is kept at 70 mm. The motor can produce more torque at 42.6 Nm at 6,000 rpm thanks to the longer stroke.

The Ninja 500 gets telescopic forks at the front and a mono-shock at the rear, while braking performance comes from a 310 mm front disc and a 220 mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS. The bike has an LCD digital instrument console with smartphone connectivity. Other features also include the Kawasaki Intelligent Proximity Activation Start System (KIPASS) and a Type-C charging port.

As told to you, you can buy 2024 Kawasaki Ninja 500 at an ex-showroom price of Rs 5.24 lakh. Kawasaki Ninja 500 competes with bikes like the Aprilia RS 457, Yamaha YZF-R3 and KTM RC 390 in this segment.
