Apple is preparing to launch the next budget iPad. This iPad is expected to launch in April 2026. This iPad is said to have major updates in terms of performance and software. There is no information about this iPad yet.

Gadgets 360 reported that this iPad would come preloaded with the latest iOS 26.4. This budget iPad is expected to launch in April this year. But if the production process is prolonged, it may launch in May. Apple has yet to announce any information about the launch.

It is being said that the upcoming iPad will offer a chip upgrade. The company may include a new A18 chip. This chip will improve the device's performance and support Apple's intelligence features. Beyond the chip, the company will not make any significant changes to the design. However, some reports also claim that it may offer in-house modem and networking hardware. Apple recently upgraded its high-end iPad.

Regarding the iPad (2025), launched last year, its 11-inch Wi-Fi-only model is available in India starting at ₹59,900. The current iPad features an A16 Bionic chip and 12-megapixel front and rear cameras. This tablet runs on iPadOS 18. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, 5G, and 4G LTE (cellular models). The iPad Pro, launched in 2025, comes with a 28.93Wh battery.
