Vande Bharat sleeper coach: Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav on Tuesday shared pictures of the sleeper version of the Vande Bharat train. He has also given information about its launch.
The first picture of the sleeper coach of the Vande Bharat train has been revealed. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has shared its photo on her social media account X. The Railway Minister wrote that the sleeper version of the Vande Bharat train will arrive next year i.e. early 2024. Two and three-tier options will be available in the Vande Bharat Sleeper version. Its design and bird are completely different from other premium trains.
According to news agency ANI, the sleeper version of the Vande Bharat train will start operating in February 2024. The sleeper version has been introduced with the aim of providing comfortable travel to passengers over long distances.
Looking at the pictures of the sleeper version of the Vande Bharat train, you will feel that it is a room of a luxury hotel. According to information received from sources, it is believed that the Vande Bharat sleeper train will have 857 berths, of which 34 can be for staff. An order has been given to Rail Vikas Nigam Limited to make the sleeper version of Vande Bharat.
The sleeper version of this train will be manufactured at the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) in Chennai. It is being projected as an indigenous train under the Make in India program. Indian Railways has introduced the concept for Vande Bharat trains from October 1, under which coaches will be cleaned in just 14 minutes.
