Rajasthan Braces for More Storms as Western Disturbance Intensifies Weather
Rajasthan Weather Update: Amidst the intense heat, the sudden change in weather in Rajasthan has brought both relief and trouble to the people. Temperatures dropped in some places due to the storm and rain, while strong winds disrupted normal life elsewhere. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for several areas for the next 48 hours.



Today in Rajasthan, the climate is varied. The scorching heat persists, while storms and rainfall have been favorable for some districts and a hindrance for others. Over the past 24 hours, Chittorgarh reported a temperature of 43.4 degrees Celsius, while some other districts, like Jaipur, witnessed occasional rainfall accompanied by thunder.
According to the Meteorological Department, due to the activation of a western disturbance, a yellow alert for storms and rain has been issued for the next 48 hours in 15 districts, including Jaipur, Alwar, Bharatpur, and Sikar. During this period, strong winds of 30 to 50 kmph are expected. Farmers have been advised to protect their crops and the public has been advised to exercise caution.
The heatwave continues to affect various regions in Rajasthan. The temperature remained at 42.6 degrees Celsius in Jaisalmer, 42.0 degrees Celsius in Barmer, 41.8 degrees Celsius in Phalodi, and 41.4 degrees Celsius in Bikaner. Heatwaves prevailed in certain areas of Barmer, Jaisalmer, and Jalore districts, disrupting people's normal lives.
