The effects of snowfall in the hilly states of North India are now visible in Rajasthan. This time, cold has arrived earlier than usual. Night temperatures in many cities have fallen below 10 degrees Celsius. According to the latest report from the Meteorological Center, Jaipur, similar cold conditions will prevail in the state for the next few days as well. The department has issued a yellow alert for cold wave in Sikar for four days and in Tonk for one day.

Fatehpur (Sikar) was the coldest in the last 24 hours with a minimum temperature of 6.9 degrees Celsius. Sikar recorded 7.5 degrees Celsius and Nagaur 8.3 degrees Celsius, respectively. A mild cold wave was felt in these areas on Tuesday morning and evening. Temperatures in Rajasthan's Sikar, Fatehpur, and Nagaur cities were lower than Shimla (8.4°C), Mandi (8.8°C), Mussoorie (8°C), and Dehradun (11.8°C) in Uttarakhand, as well as Jammu (11.4°C) and Katra (10.4°C) in Jammu and Kashmir.
