The heatwave in Rajasthan is intensifying. The heat and bright sunlight are creating problems for residents across several regions of Rajasthan. On Sunday, temperatures in Churu, Chittorgarh, and Kota reached 42 degrees centigrade or higher, whereas temperatures above 40 to 41 degrees were recorded in over ten cities.

In order to keep the citizens cool, the Kota Municipal Corporation has been watering the streets using tankers. According to the Jaipur Meteorological Department, the yellow heatwave warning will be in effect for six districts, including Jaipur, starting Monday. Extremely hot weather will persist in Sri Ganganagar and Hanumargarh in the coming days.

On Sunday, some areas of northern Rajasthan remained lightly cloudy until noon, but there was no respite from the heat. Looking at the weather over the past 24 hours, except for the Bikaner division, most areas remained clear and the sun shone throughout the day. People in Jhunjhunu, Bharatpur, Alwar, and Dholpur faced severe hardship due to the heatwave.
