Rajasthan Rape: 9-year-old girl was raped by her father at home

One more innocent girl was raped in Jodhpur Police Commissionerate area of Rajasthan. The father's friend this time raped the innocent girl when she was alone in her home. The accused escaped after committing the act. Police initiated an investigation into the case after it was lodged.

A woman has lodged an FIR against her nine-year-old daughter on Thursday under charges of molestation and rape, as informed by the police. The statements of the victim and her mother were recorded and a medical examination was conducted on the victim. Three days back, the woman departed from home to attend office in the morning. The husband also had left for office. The nine-year-old daughter was left all alone back home. The friend of the husband visited the home in this intervening period.

It is alleged that finding the daughter alone, he molested her and then raped her. Later he left. When the mother returned home, the daughter told her everything. The family contacted the accused and protested. They also warned him of police action. Hearing this, the accused absconded. He is said to be from Madhya Pradesh. Police say that the victim's parents have had a love marriage. The investigation of the case has been handed over to Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Sikau) Sunil Panwar.

A case of rape of an eight-year-old innocent was registered in another police station of the Commissionerate on Tuesday. An eleven-year-old neighbor took the innocent to a secluded place and raped her. The police have taken the accused under protection and sent him to a juvenile home.
