Oppo Find X9 Series to Launch in India Next Month with MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Chipset
Oppo is soon launching its new flagship smartphones, the Oppo Find X9 series, in India. The company announced this at India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2025, and the series will feature MediaTek's new Dimensity 9500 chipset. The series will include the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro models, which will launch in India next month.
The announcement of the Oppo Find X9 launch in India next month was made on Friday during the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2025. The Oppo Find X9 series is scheduled to launch in China on October 16th, and these phones will run ColorOS 16. The company has finally revealed when its next flagship phones will launch. The brand has partnered with MediaTek to bring the new Dimensity 9500 chipset to the upcoming Find X9 series. The series will include the Oppo Find X9 and Find X9 Pro models, successors to last year's Find X8 and Find X8 Pro.
Oppo confirmed that the Find X9 series will launch in India next month at IMC 2025. The company also revealed that it has partnered with MediaTek to bring the new Dimensity 9500 chipset to the Find X9 lineup, making it the first smartphone series to feature MediaTek's latest flagship SoC.
The new chipset comes with an Arm G1-Ultra GPU and features a prime core clocked at 4.21GHz, three premium cores clocked at 3.50GHz, and four performance cores clocked at 2.70GHz. This mobile platform is claimed to deliver 32% better single-core and 17% better multi-core performance compared to the previous generation.
The Dimensity 9500 is said to offer 33% better graphics performance and 42% more power efficiency than its predecessor. Oppo says the Find X9 series will further enhance these performance gains with its custom cooling system, giving users a consistent high-frame-rate experience during graphically intense gaming.

The Oppo Find X9 series will launch in China on October 16th, and Oppo is currently taking pre-orders for these phones. It has been confirmed that the phones will feature up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage. The Find X9 and Find X9 Pro will be offered in Chasing Red, Velvet Titanium, and Frosty White (translated from Chinese) color options. The standard model will also get a fourth color option, Fog Black.
These upcoming phones will come with a Hasselblad-tuned camera setup. The Oppo Find X9 Pro will feature a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with a focal length of 70mm. A Hasselblad Professional Photography Kit will also be bundled.
The Oppo Find X9 series will run ColorOS 16 based on Android 16. This series will use Oppo's own Trinity Engine. The vanilla model will have a 7,000mAh battery, while the Pro version will have a 7,500mAh battery.
