Online mapping: Passengers will be able to get the online location of buses

In order to further strengthen public transport, the Department of Transport and Road Safety is doing online mapping of the routes. After the mapping is completed, the passengers will also be able to get the online location of the buses. Along with this, the colonies which do not have the facility of public transport in the city will also be connected.
At present, online mapping of 115 routes of the city is going on in the beginning. Out of this, public transport vehicles are currently operating on 85 routes. Public transport will be arranged on 30 new routes. This also includes the areas of the city where there is no public transport facility.
The city currently consists of only 300 le fleur buses and metro in the name of public transport. The number of private minibuses is decreasing day by day. Two years ago, 2,000 private buses were running in the city, now only 800 are left. On the other hand, the population of the city has increased from 40 lakhs to 60 lakhs.
More than 200 new colonies are being established every year, but there is no public transport facility here. There is a jam in the population and the park with more than the private vehicles. In the survey, the urgent need for 30 new routes has been told in the city. The colonies will be connected to the main roads if the public transport facility is available on these routes. After this, passengers will get information about the stands including the location of online buses.
