Lazarus Union Confer “UN NGO Honor Medal- Silver” to Ambassador Dr.Dinesh Sabnis for his Commendable Projects in United Nations
This medal is awarded by Lazarus Union for the outstanding personal commitments in the sense of and according to the Charter of the United Nations and for UN humanitarian missions in personal and spiritual terms.
The Lazarus Union, is an international non-governmental organization that focuses on humanitarian aid and civil protection. The Lazarus Union has members in more than 120 countries and has General Consultative Status with the ECOSOC of the United Nations. The Lazarus Union has a multitude of activities, mostly focused on helping those in need, such as the homeless, disabled etc.
On 7th July 2023, Lazarus Union General Plenipotentiary and Union Commander in Chief Oliver Gruber-Lavin Ochoa confer Dr.Dinesh Sabnis of India with “UN NGO Honor Medal- Silver” for his sincere and sustainable efforts in the projects related to diplomatic mediations and sustainable development goals in United Nations. This medal is awarded by Lazarus Union for the outstanding personal commitments in the sense of and according to the Charter of the United Nations and for UN humanitarian missions in personal and spiritual terms.
Dr.Sabnis efforts are been clearly visible in the areas of diplomatic mediations and sustainable development goals related projects of United Nations.
Dr.Sabnis has been working honorary for the Lazarus Union as a Commander in Chief and Ambassador for India and also holds other prestigious appointments such as Addl. Representative in United Nations Geneva Office for IGO WFDP and Secretary General Post in UN Peacekeepers Veterans Association AISP SPIA. All this organizations have Special & General Consultative Status in United Nations respectively through ECOSOC.
Dr.Dinesh Sabnis in past have already been awarded with “Commemorative Peace Medal” by UN Peacekeepers Veteran Organisation- AISP SPIA and “UN NGO Grand Cross” by Lazarus Union for his commendable work for the global society in the field of Education Diplomacy, International Mediations & Peace.
Dr.Sabnis was also conferred with Honorary Colonel rank by the Governor of Commonwealth of Kentucky- USA for his efforts in diplomacy.
