Rajasthan Weather Today: Heavy rain alert has been issued in 11 districts of the state. Meteorologists say that a low pressure area has formed in the Bay of Bengal on Thursday. It is likely to become stronger on Friday and become a Wellmark low-pressure system.



An alert for heavy monsoon rains has been issued once again in Rajasthan. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rains in 11 districts of the state today. It has been predicted that this period of heavy rains will continue till July 30. After this, this cycle may slow down again from August 1. Director of Meteorological Center, Jaipur, Radheshyam Sharma said that a low-pressure area has formed in the Bay of Bengal on Thursday. It is likely to become stronger on Friday and become a Wellmark low-pressure system.
This system will now shift quickly towards the western side. Because of its influence, rain activities will enhance in eastern Rajasthan from July 26 in some areas. There will be a spell of heavy rains from 26 to 30 July. Along with that, heavy to very heavy rains are possible in some south-eastern districts during 27-28 July. The state has issued an orange alert issuing an alert for extremely heavy rains on 27 and 28 July. The Meteorological Department reports that the monsoon could continue to be slow in the first week of August.
