The monsoon season in Rajasthan has slowed down for now. The meteorological Center Jaipur has issued an alert predicting normal rain in six districts of the state on Wednesday. Meteorologists say a circulation system is currently forming in the Bay of Bengal. As a result, a low- pressure area is likely to develop around July 24. This could lead to increased heavy rainfall activity again in eastern Rajasthan between July 27 to 30.

The director of Meteorological Center Jaipur, Radheshyam Sharma, said that a cyclonic circulation system has formed in the Bay of Bengal. It may strengthen further in the next 24 to 36 hours and develop into a low- pressure system. This system will gradually move toward eastern India. Due to this, heavy rain activities could begin in Rajasthan from July 27 to 30. During this period, Kota division might see very heavy rain, with heavy rain expected in Bharatpur, Jaipur, and Udaipur divisions.

In the past 24 hours, some parts of the state received normal rainfall. On Tuesday, many districts, including Bharatpur, Alwar, Sawai Madhopur, and Karauli, received up to 2 inches of rain. Jaipur, Sriganganagar, and Hanumangarh also experienced rain. Bahadurgarh in Alwar recorded over 70 mm of water. Over the last 24 hours, Karauli received 25 mm, Udaipur 35 mm, Bahadurgarh 70 mm, Khairthal 63 mm, Mundawar 64.2 mm, and Alwar city 64. 25 mm. Bhadra in Hanumangarh received 60 mm, Deeg in Bharatpur 22 mm, Roopwas 64 mm, Khandar in Sawai Madhopur 14 mm, and Sadulshahar in Churu 16 mm. Aandhi in Jaipur saw 16 mm, and Tunga 18 mm.

Flooding caused the Sawai Madhopur- Sapotra- Karauli and Hadauti- Sapotra roads to be completely closed. The culvert of the Banas River near Bhuri Pahari was destroyed due to strong currents. So far, more than 30 deaths have been reported across the state due to rain- related accidents. On Tuesday, two children drowned in a pond in Ajmer' s Arani area. A mini bus got caught in a strong current in the Luni River near Dadali village in Balotra on Tuesday morning. Over six passengers were traveling in the bus from Baytu to Karna Bhukha Bhagat Singh route. The bus was safely recovered with the help of a crane.
