Toyota Rumion with powerful engine and premium features price increased, which competes with Ertiga
Toyota Kirloskar Motor has increased the prices of Toyota Rumion, which competes with Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, by Rs 12500. Now, its starting ex-showroom price is Rs 10.66 lakh. Rumion is a rebadged version of Ertiga and is available in three variants. It has a 1.5-liter petrol engine that gives a power of 102hp and the CNG variant gives a power of 87hp.

The prices of Toyota Rumion, brought to India by Toyota Kirloskar Motor to compete with Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, have been increased. It is available in India with numerous wonderful features. Besides this, it is also equipped with a strong engine and luxurious interior.
Every model of the Toyota Rumion has been given an equal price increase of Rs 12,500. Post price increase, its base ex-showroom price has increased to Rs 10.66 lakh, while the ex-showroom price of the top model has increased to Rs 13.95 lakh.
Toyota Rumion is a rebadged form of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. Similar to Baleno having Glanza, Ford has Tigor and Hyrider has Grand Vitara. Both of them sell numerous models of which Rumion is also one. The Rumion is available in three models, viz. S, G and V. The Ertiga, however, is available in numerous variants.
The Rumion and Ertiga are based on the same platform, but Toyota has given the Rumion a slightly different look with its styling elements. It has a new front grille, redesigned bumpers with projector headlights, newly styled alloy wheels, slight changes have also been made at the rear. It is offered in a 7-seater layout, which makes it a family-friendly MPV.
The Toyota Rumion has a dual-tone black and beige dashboard with faux wood finish inside. It has cruise control, automatic climate control, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Along with this, it is offered with many other great features.
The Toyota Rumion uses a 1.5-liter petrol engine, which generates 102hp of power and 138Nm of torque. This engine comes with 5-speed manual and automatic torque converter transmission. It is also offered in CNG version. Its CNG variant generates 87hp of power and 121Nm of torque. It is offered only with manual transmission. The company claims that its petrol variant gives a mileage of 20.5 km/liter and the CNG variant gives a mileage of up to 26.11 km/kg.
