Earthquake Strikes Jaipur: Magnitude 4.4 on Richter Scale, No Reported Damage



Jaipur, the Pink City of India, was shaken by an earthquake registering 4.4 on the Richter scale early on Friday morning. The National Center of Seismology India reported that the quake struck at 4.9 am, with the epicenter located within the city itself.
Despite the considerable intensity, there have been no immediate reports of damage or casualties. However, the quake's impact was felt across several areas, including Jaipur, Bharatpur, and Sriganganagar.
Residents were startled by the tremors, which came in three successive waves, prompting many to rush out of their homes in the wee hours of the morning, fearing for their safety.
Authorities and disaster response teams are closely monitoring the situation and are on high alert to assess any potential damage. They are urging residents to remain cautious and report any incidents or structural issues that may have been caused by the earthquake.
